“THE LORD’S TABLE”

“So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one” Eze 22 : 30
Just a few verses before this, in (Ezekiel 22:28). “And her prophets have daubed them with untempered morter, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus saith the Lord GOD, when the LORD hath not spoken”. This image of the wall depicts a false and weak wall of the false prophets. These false prophets built the wall of the Temple with “untempered mortar”;
What is “untempered mortar”?
It is the foolish, false doctrine of the false prophets, preachers and shepherds. When they build their doctrines, the foundation is a lie, it’s false, foolish, vain, not from Yahweh.
Elohim was looking for a man that would bring stability, strength and security to Israel. The problem was GOD in His majestic glory was seeking someone who had the character, wisdom, a real relationship built on intimacy with HIM and yet, He couldn’t find one!
GOD isn’t looking for someone that can build the Kingdom with their gifts, talents, seed; abilities etc. He is looking for someone whose PRAYER will affect the heart of GOD. ABBA chose Abraham, David and Moses as His vessels that would “STAND IN THE GAP” through their prayer between HIM and His disobedient and rebellious people.
Can GOD trust you to be that called vessel that will STAND IN THE GAP and fight for HIS people in prayer? We have so many godly, righteous people in the church who can pray to divert and stop GOD’S judgment, but many aren’t committed in filling that role. Praise YHWH that when we have failed to fulfill our call to pray, CHRIST is the man for the job – our wall of strength,stability and security.Heb 7:25 “Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them”.
